This dwarf miner is a minor character in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. He is famously known to dwarves for re-finding the Arkenstone The dwarf was portrayed by Glenn Boswell, who was the stunt coordinator for The Hobbit film series in An Unexpected Journey.

Thrór is a king who rules Erebor, a kingdom in which the dwarf miner lives in. The dwarf miner works in the mines with several others. One day while working, he comes across a stone known as the Arkenstone, and also the stone that Thrain the Old's son abandoned.
